The Chile international has made the roster for the upcoming match in the Czech Republic for the first time since recovering from a hamstring injury.
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has received some encouraging news in the build-up to Tuesday's Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen as Alexis Sanchez has been included in the match squad for the first time since sustaining a hamstring injury.
The Chile international picked up the knock in his side's 2-2 La Liga draw away against Real Sociedad on September 10 and had been out of action since.
Sanchez resumed regular training last week and has now been given the green light to make his comeback.
Barcelona currently sit joint first in Group H with seven points from three games, while Viktoria Plzen have collected only one point.
